Ilyushin IL-76 Visits Manchester!

On the 27th October, an Ilyushin IL-76 visited Manchester to pick up an engine. This was a very welcome sight as I was able to see two great Russian aircraft in the space of three days! During the day I was also able to catch another British Airways Airbus A319 'Dove', a Qatar Airways Airbus A330-300 sporting the new tail design and the daily Blue Islands ATR 42.

A Very Special Visitor at Liverpool!

On the 24th October, a UT Air Tupolev TU-154 in VIP Configuration visited Liverpool Airport to bring in Russian team Anzhi Makhachkala to play Liverpool in the Europa League, the flight arrived from Moscow Vnukovo on Wednesday 24th and departed back on Friday 26th, here are the shots of it's arrival!

Airbus A330-200MRTT in for paint at Manchester!

On the 19th October, An Airbus A330-200MRTT arrived at Manchester for paint with Air Livery prior to going into the RAF's growing fleet of A330-200MRTT's. There were also a few other interesting movements during the day, including Virgin Atlantic's special '25th Anniversary' Boeing 747-400!

A Week of Interesting Visits at Manchester!

Within three days (8th, 9th & 10th August), there were a number of interesting movements at Manchester, all of which I was delighted to catch! This included an Antonov 124, A Lufthansa MD-11, the famous British Airways 'Firefly' A319, an Air Italy B738, a Euro Lot Dash 8 on a delivery flight and one of the British Airways 'Dove' A319's!
