Brussels Airlines Dash 8 & Turkish Airlines B739!

On the morning of the 30th July I took a trip to Manchester as there were a few interesting movements, including a Brussels Airlines Dash 8 on lease from Flybe, and a Turkish Airlines B737-900ER on the Istanbul flight. I also managed to catch an American Airlines B767-300 with winglets. The weather was far from perfect, but here are the photos I managed...

Qantas B744 & Gabon Government B772!

Both a Qantas Boeing 747-400 and a Gabon Government Boeing 777-200 were parked on remote at Manchester and had been for the pays few days. From the Terminal 1 Multi-Storey car park I was able to catch both of them, although unfortunately they were obstructed! The Qantas was departing on the same evening (28th) and the Gabon was staying for parking during the London Olympics. I also managed to catch a FedEx Boeing 757-200. Here are the photos...

A340-500 Visits Manchester!

On the 24th July 2012, there were a number of interesting movements including the rare visit of an Etihad Airbus A340-500. This was in addition to the normal A330 flights, and was taking the Manchester City team out for their pre-season tour. Here are the photos...

Ryanair Dreamliner Scheme Visits Manchester!

After always wanting a picture of the Ryanair Dreamliner Boeing 737-800, the day finally came when it arrived at Manchester on a flight from Bremen and the opportunity simply couldn't be missed! There were also a number of other interesting movements on the 17th July, including the arrival of a Miami Air Boeing 737-800 which was a very rare sight at Manchester, a special scheme Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 and the new scheme Thomson Boeing 767-300!

15th July, A Few Interesting Movements at Manchester!

On the 15th July I took a trip down to Manchester and managed to catch a few interesting movements. This included the visit of a passenger Atlas Air Boeing 747-400 arriving empty, and then taking Manchester United on their pre-season tour the following day! On this day, the Aviation Fair was also taking place at the Viewing Park, which included being able to stand on on open top bus while taking pictures! This therefore allowed for some pictures to be taken from a different angle, as seen here in some of the photos...
